The L Word: Generation Queeks – Color Out of Space / The L Word: Generation Q

H. P. Lovecraft is notoriously difficult to adapt for the screen – how can you visually depict something that’s meant to be visually incomprehensible? We watched Color Out of Space, based on the short story of the same name, and film that gives the impossible notion a shot with the help of a bonkers performance by Nic Cage. Then, back in reality, we watched The L Word: Generational Q, the sequel series to the mid-2000s ground-breaking drama about a group of lesbian friends. The show is sexy, female-led, and critically acclaimed. In other words it is very different from us. Be sure to share this episode with your friends to spread the good news of Cthulhu! Sharing is caring!
